Elkhorn Creek RV Park 165 North Scruggs Lane, Frankfort, KY 40601

"We enjoyed our two night stay at this beautiful, pet friendly, clean, and well maintained park. We had a back in spot on the creek and although the sites are fairly close together, it was very quiet and peaceful. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed the playground and mini golf on site. The bathhouses were very nice and clean as well. Only about 10 minutes from Buffalo Trace Distillery. Verizon cell service was decent. Looks like they are preparing to make improvements and it’s obvious they take great pride in the park. We hope to go back in the future!"

"Easy access and fairly easy to navigate our 40 foot rig. We had a lovely water/electric only site by the creek. A golf course on the opposite side of the creek made for pleasant viewing. There was a food truck and guitar player onsite when we arrived on Saturday night. Staff seemed concerned that we were comfortable and accommodated. Within a short drive to several good bourbon/ whiskey distilleries. Moderately priced at 50 dollars a night."

"VERY NICE CAMPGROUND! This RV park was easily accessible if you get off on exit 58. The route apple and Google maps shows is not large camper or RV friendly. The campground includes these instruction in their reservation email (YAY). Up: - playground for the kids ( it’s a larger playground and in good condition) - two separate dog parks - very clean bath house and restrooms - weekend food truck and live music - concrete pads - beautiful spots - nice little creek - location is close enough to so many fun activities - flush station on site ( easily accessible for larger campers and rvs) Down: - camping spots are close, still easy to pull in and out just close. - sewer is not offered with all the spot ( I guess we missed that detail). Check the map before booking. We will be back! Thanks for all the memories!"

"Nice campground right off the main drag. Looks like a lot of work is being done at the campground. The pull through site we had is not really long enough as our car would hang out across the access road. The sites are almost 90 degrees to the roads making access difficult. Services are well positioned for easily hooking up."

"This is a great park for RVs. Very clean and well run. There is an attentive and hard working staff. And the facilities and offerings are quite nice too. The bath house is incredibly nice, looking like it's been recently remodeled and very well kept and clean. Also, the pool is great. Lastly, there was a very thoughtful ice cream sundae event with live music while we were there. There's a small mini golf park which was alright, but could use some repair. My family actually camped in a tent next to some relatives who were staying in their RV. I do wish that they allowed just tent camping because it's such a nice place, but I guess they don't allow it. Over all, great place."
