"30 minutes is a LONG time to sit around without pants."

"i just left this office after not being serviced for an appointment. The whole process was annoying. I had a 1:40pm appointment that I was 10 minutes late for (I called ahead to let them know). Arrived at the building and went to the 3rd floor to look for suite 303 (per the address stated on the answering service and building directory). When I got to the 3rd floor there was construction and suite 303 was nonexistent. So I called again and listened to the lengthy message before getting to a receptionist. She informed me that they were in suite 404. So I get back on the elevator and head up to the office. I arrive, check in, fill out new patient paperwork, etc. after about ten minutes I’m escorted to the back to answer questions for my profile and wait on the doctor. The doctor finally comes at 2:40pm and takes me to his office to answer his questions. He asked me if I had a checkup recently, I replied “no” and he asked me what the visit regarding, I replied “annual”. At this point I answered these questions multiple times already, waited for a long time and didn’t feel like chit chatting. So he got sarcastic and basically gave me an ultimatum (stay or go) because I replied to his TWO questions with one word answers. So I decided to leave. Doctors need to be empathetic and professional. Not rude and sarcastic. That’s all I have to say"

Will definitely be returning when my husband and I are ready to have another child."

"This office is unprofessional. I could name everything they collectively done wrong while I was a patient here but I'll stick to one being the reason I was discharged as a patient at 32 weeks pregnant. There was always a schedule conflict being that I work just like everyone here. They always made me feel bad for working and not taking the first appointment they had available. The doctor could cancel and appointment with me 24hrs in advanced but when I could not accommodate with what she wanted me to do she decided to discharge me. Doesn't seem like this is caring for a high risk patient. Not to mention I am the first case at thoer office with a transabdominal cerclage. They never knew what was going on. Made me feel bad for choosing to take measures in my own hands to get this kind of cerclage vs. the vaginal cerclage that they are accustomed to. Anytime you arrive you will wait at least an hour before being called back no matter what time your appointment is scheduled for. They'll put you in a rm to discuss any changes with the MA then you'll wait another 30-45 minutes for a doctor to visit you to do all of 5 minutes of work. They rush you out as if you are not important. Do not I repeat do not trust this office with caring for your child. Luckily I was able to get in with another doctor at a new office who is committed to caring and learning about my higher risk. The laurie lady and a all those ladies working being the desk have bad attitudes. Even when you call in. They and talk about patients when they hang up. I've heard this myself. So much for HIPPA."
