"My wife and I came to San Antonio to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary. On June 8, 2019, we caught a movie in the shops at Rivercenter. Upon exiting the theater, Time Out Liquor was located at the bottom of the escalator. We thought, “how perfect is this”. We were looking to buy a bottle for our hotel room. Upon entering the store, we were asked for ID. As I showed my ID (born in 1967), I joked about the employee requesting my ID looking younger than me. A conversation ensued pertaining to both employees stating its Texas state law and EVERYONE is asked that enters the store. The lady behind the register was rather rude about our questioning the ID request before selecting something to purchase. After I stated that I understood and told them “you are just doing your job...”, as I was putting my ID away a women walked and made a purchase without being asked for her ID. This is very poor customer service. The management needs to monitor the workers and give training to areas needed. Needless to say we exited after the blatant contradictory behavior. This occurred aproximately, around 2:30pm that day. Enough dissatisfied customers can some times make a difference. Final thoughts for your employees, “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover!” If I could, this performance is wort zero stars!"
"Walked around for a good while and never found the LIQUOR store if there even is one. I did find the snack store tho but all they had was beer and typical gas station convenience store food/bev items. To be fair, this may be Googles fault for telling me the liquor store was on the Riverwalk walkway when it is in fact inside the mall somewhere. Who knows. I thought about buying a drink at the snack store but the prices were crazy high, and the store smelled like feces. UPDATE: I called the number listed for the liquor store and they are INSIDE the Riverplace mall, NOT on the Riverwalk walkway (Google Maps needs to correct this). A brief inquiry into their inventory and pricing (specifically whiskey, rum, and brandy) gives me an unfavorable impression. I will edit this post when I visit the liquor store next time I’m in San Antonio."
