"I don't know why, but I like these old rusty towers. But I didn't go to the top, was a bit too shacky :-) But I liked it a lot. And there was nobody there. Recommended."

"~15 or so minutes from Millstone Bluff and Jackson Falls(if you're looking to visit a few places) Not for ones who are scared of heights or things that wobble a bit. Also, it is old, so it may look a bit rough, but it's worth the little climb up."
"My son and I have camped in Southern Illinois for 8 years but this was our first time to Trigger Tower. I'm scared of heights, but I like to push myself. So we made our way up the stairs to enjoy the view. The only reason I give it four stars is because it could use some updating. I love the Shawnee National Forest. Would love to see Trigg Tower upgraded somehow."
"Decided to follow the signs on our way back to camp and glad we did. Stairs could definitely use some TLC but we carefully made our way to the top. Parking is right next to the tower. Amazing view!"
