"Quick stop for cheap gas. Be warned though, this is not a convenience store. Thankfully they do have one outdoor access restroom. It wasn’t worse than some of the other convenience store restrooms along 287 but you should know there is just one toilet here."

"My daughter went to work forgetting her wallet, (we don't live in town.) After work she went to get fuel but couldn't find her wallet. We were out of town, she didn't know what to do. She told the manager at Murphys her situation. He paid $5 out of his pocket, so she could pump fuel & get home. We were so thankful he helped her. I went by when I was back in town & paid him back. We are thankful for good people."

"Murphy's is a good place for cigarettes and gas.(just don't try to use both at the same time! LOL I know that this is a no "brainer" for most of us, but you would be surprised how many idiotic people there are in the world!!!!) They're the cheapest place in Bowie for both cigarettes and fuel, even diesel fuel. The ladies that work there are all very quick and easy to get along with. Very nice people."
