"We purchased a mattress that cost over 2k. We have had for almost six months now and I fall asleep thinking about the money I have wasted. I emailed Bowles about how uncomfortable the mattress was and was told to put a topper on it to make it more comfortable. I’m guessing the mattress is well built but that does not make it comfortable. I feel really let down. I wanted to support a local businesses and expected and a quality product but I would have been better off buying a production mattress or a mail order mattress. At least they offer a grace period. The comfort of my mattress may be due to a material shortage. I had to wait over three months for my mattress to arrive. Purchase with caution. More expensive doesn’t always mean your satisfaction will be higher. Staff was very friendly."
"I purchased a semi firm mattress that you could flip over and use both sides. In the store, it felt pretty comfortable. But the one that was delivered to me, which I’m assuming is more or less the same, it’s like a brick. It’s super heavy, has no bend or give to it, and really hard to sleep on. I called the store to see what could be done after a reasonable breaking in period. They sent me over to the warranty people. I was told that I should fill out a form and they would get back to me. I never heard back. Their warrantee is extremely limited. They don’t seem to have any mechanism for customer satisfaction whatsoever. So I’m stuck with $1000 mattress that is so uncomfortable that I literally wake up sore every morning. I’m sure it’s well-made and it’s probably indestructible, but I’m seriously thinking of putting it out to the curb for large item pick up."
