"I was a patient with Versailles Family Medicine for 8 years. For the first several years I received quality primary care however, as the practice grew, that care dwindled. It became increasingly difficult to schedule appointments and have medication refilled. I would call the practice multiple times a day in attempt to get through. I left several voicemails over the years that were never returned. It got to the point that I never saw the same provider and with each visit I was scheduled with someone new. I finally decided to move on to a different practice after my most recent experience. I have been traveling for work over the past 2 years and have maintained appointments via telehealth. I was prescribed 3 months supply of my medication (200mg although it was supposed to be 100mg) of which I took half for the accurate dose, thus leading the supply to last 6 months. I called to schedule an appointment for a medication refill and was informed that I MUST be seen for an in-person appointment before they would agree to refill my medication (not a controlled substance or any medication that would require additional testing, labs, or vitals). I agreed but they were unable to schedule an in-person appointment prior to my next work trip a week away and scheduled me for a month out. This is an SSRI antidepressant medication that is unsafe to quit cold turkey and could lead to serious withdrawals and side effects which I was prescribed to manage severe postpartum issues. I requested a virtual appointment to get me through until they had in-person availability but they denied my request. I was terrified my symptoms would return if I did not receive a refill before running out completely. Luckily, I was able to find another practice that scheduled me within two days."

"We have had excellent care from two staff in the last 24 months for routine basic primary care but our care in December had been uncaring, unresponsive and alarming. They have not responded to messages left, online appointment requests, medication refills. There is no communication or follow-up."

"For the love of god, answer your phone! My child has not been able to get prescriptions refilled, and her test results have failed to be forwarded to her specialist doctors because no one here answers the phone. My child has a serious medical condition and needs meds on time and needs communication between this office and specialist doctors. I do not recommend this practice due to abominable communication."
