"This review is in regards to this specific location. If you are going to use this company, I recommend the Dixie Hwy Location. What I first want to say is that we are extremely happy with our cabinets, the quality etc. Customer Service and the headache of this remodel has resulted in the 1 star review, as no business should run this way. If I were to type out all of the issues we have had, I could type out a book, but the last issue is what set us over the edge. A blower was ordered for our kitchen. When the blower was brought out to be installed, but the incorrect one was ordered. Darren told us to order an install kit and it would make it work (even though we called the blower company and they stated we needed a different one), we did what Darren told us our option was. Install kit comes in, they come back out to install, our installer says it's not going to work. We call Darren to let him know, Darren states that he will just have to return it then and we will have to order it ourselves. We return the blower that cost $800, only to receive $560 back. As Darren put it "I charge a restocking fee". We contacted Darren in regards to the concern (had to call numerous times as he was not returning our calls), as it was his mistake of ordering the incorrect blower. When we questioned him for proof of what he ordered to get documentation of him ordering the incorrect item (which we already knew but wanted to make it blatantly obvious to receive the full refund) he stated, "I will look into it and give you a call tomorrow". That was 2 weeks ago. We are completely understanding of mistakes happening, which was never the issue, but not owning up to a mistake, dodging customer calls, and not issuing a full refund over a mistake is not a way to run a business. We have switched to the Dixie Hwy location (original owners of the company where as Darren is a Franchise) and they are issuing a full refund. This location has also tried to contact Darren in regards to this issue and just to get our paperwork so they can handle what we are still missing, and Darren is dodging their calls as well. Overall, we recommend Express Cabinets, just not this location."

"Darren was great to work with. Initial visit to the store we selected the style and color of cabinets we wanted. He provided a website for the countertop company he works with, Granite Galleria in Lexington. You can also choose your own provider. We had arrived with measurements of our existing cabinets. Darren scheduled a follow-up visit to verify measurements and complete the order. We ordered slide out drawers for the lower cabinets and island and slide out spice racks for one of the upper cabinets adjacent to the range. We reviewed Granite Galleria's website and opted for a quartz countertop and ordered through Express Cabinet. However, payment for the countertop is coordinated with and to Granite Galleria. It was approximately 6 weeks from order to installation of the cabinets, and another 1.5 - 2 weeks for countertop installation. We found a sink and faucet we liked at Lowes. Granite Galleria set the sink for us and I installed the faucet. Express Cabinets also has a brochure for sink selection if you choose that option. We are extremely pleased with the outcome. We finished the backsplash with brushed nickel tiles from Lowes."
