"Really glad to have found this place. Music was amazing (mostly classic rock) with dim comfortable lights. Dilly bread and olive oil cake were out of this world. Lots of vegetarian options. Make sure to make reservation way ahead of time as this place is usually booked. We'll definitely be back."

"Came for the desserts but everything and I mean everything was amazing. The dilly bread was everything that I heard and more. The butter that comes with it was better than the bread. The Charlie and the pasta factory was the best pasta dish I've had in years. The desserts where the best ending we could have asked for the olive oil cake is a must have and you have to get a piece of pie. My dessert was so good I stopped eating it so I could enjoy it more from the comfort of of bed. True fatboi moment. Oh and don't forget the oysters and cocktails"

"I've heard good things about this place and I'm glad to report that it lived up to expectations. I visited with a friend recently and we both really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and the bartenders (we sat at the bar) in particular were great. The menu is smaller but there's a good bit of variety and this is what we ordered: - Dilly Bread (app) - Beer Battered Sweet Tots (app) - Octopus Prime (entree) - Charlie & the Pasta Factory (entree) - Olive Oil Cake (dessert) - Cookie Monster (dessert) - Cosmic Sour (cocktail) - Pear & Whatnot (cocktail) Everything tasted great but the standouts for me were the octopus (it was tender and flavorful), the bread (the everything butter is amazing), and the olive oil cake (that vanilla bean cream/meringue on top was great)! The cocktails were refreshing and had just the right amount of alcohol to feel a little intoxicating without overpowering the other flavors. It was an all around good experience! I'd recommend to anyone looking to try it out."

"This was such a unique experience for me. The menu was small but with much quality. The music is of a very laid-back ambiance, very young. Service was very detail oriented. Lastly, the food was impeccable, unique and full of flavor. I had squash with mole sauce and goat cheese. It was a 9/10, I've never had squash before, I didn't know it was going to be sweet. My boyfriend got grilled octopus with a citrus, slightly spicy gravy and potatoes. He rates it a 10/10. I also had the best espresso martini I've ever had. The olive oil cake was crazy delicious. Will definitely come back."

"This is one of our favorite restaurants in Houston - we always go here for special occasions and it has never disappointed! The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is so cozy since it’s in a renovated, little house. Had the big mac oysters tonight and they were incredible!"
