After starting kindergarten in another school, my son still talks about his friends, teachers, activities, and we show him his old pictures from this school. "Primrose School of Cedar Park West is an excellent facility! I can't say enough great things without this review being a book. They do everything with excellence! From the tour, to the registration, parent orientation, the welcome sign on my kiddos 1st day of school....everything and everyone have been so inviting and welcoming. They really get it! I am soooooo grateful to his teachers as well. They are so gentle, sweet, kind, and very patient. Have communicated with me very well. They are so willing to do the extra work needed to help my boy be comfortable and learn while he's away from me. They made our transition much easier than I worked up in my head. My son stayed with me everyday for a year and still nurses. (I'm still in shock it's been a year) I nursed him and loved him....sang and read to him for a whole year!! He's at the point now where he's too intelligent to not have Primrose-guided curriculum. Their lesson plans are so well thought out and intentional. Super clean school, so much kid-appeal through out the halls......and the staff is soooo nice and professional. Everyone, including the chef sends good vibes to my son. I love the updates and pics they send through the app. This school is solid!! May their steps continue to be blessed! Thank you Primrose :)"

"I am very happy with primrose west they are amazing Ms. Artus, Mr. Soto, Ms. Mongo, Ms. Ashley every single staff member is very welcoming every time we see them. My kids had smile all day every day. They never said they were bored I am truly blessed to have them. I really appreciate for every thing and thank you so much for keeping children happy and safe you guys are real Hero. The way you guys cooperated with parents who were working full time during crucial pandemic time and you gave us peace of mind by keeping our kids safe and sound so we could help community that's was really remarkable. i really thank you for everything and appreciate your hard work and congratulate you for achieving the excellence.....!"

"When the pandemic started here in March we kept our now 2 year old at home for 5 months just with all the unknowns at the time and the fact that he struggles with asthma. We were SO sad when we made that decision because we knew how much our son loved going to Primrose CPW. Over the summer, we started worrying about his speech & social development and WAY too much screen time being at home with two working parents so we made the decision to send him back. While we were nervous, we were confident that Primrose CPW is taking their COVID-19 protocols and safety of all their children and staff very seriously. Our son has been back for about 3 months now and we've been very happy with our decision. He understandably had some separation anxiety at drop-off that lasted about 3 weeks but now he claps when we pull into the parking lot and is so excited to hold one of the staff member's hands while he waives "bye" to us and walks into school. I think we all understand that risks will remain until the pandemic is completely under control but we've been so happy with the Primrose staff and their commitment to their COVID-19 safety protocols. The benefits of having our son interact with other kids and have structure to his day outweigh the risks for our family at this time. That was a decision we didn't take lightly and bugged our pediatrician about for several months. Thanks so much to the leadership team and staff at Primrose for taking such good care of our son!"

"This review is LONG and LONG overdue! We have been a Primrose CPW family since 2014 when our oldest daughter started at 8 weeks old and are currently still enrolled with both children, including our youngest who started in the Younger Infant class at 11 weeks old at the start of COVID in March. We thought we may have to make other arrangements due to COVID as she started kindergarten this year, but they graciously offered a true private kindergarten classroom for the first time this year. We were thrilled to have another option.. They truly saw a need within the community and their families and met it! We have always been happy with the curriculum, cleanliness of the facility, communication with the administration/staff, and the attentive care our children have received- but Primrose has far and beyond exceeded our expectations during this pandemic. They have remained open, even for essential employees during the shutdown (we were especially relieved because I am a nurse). The new protocols they have implemented have really impressed me as a nurse and as a mother. Teachers and staff comply with mask wearing at all times during the school day. They have kept the class sizes small and minimized mixing of classrooms/teachers floating between classrooms. Of course, frequent handwashing and hygiene is still a top priority. Parents are encouraged to use common sense and caution with new onset of symptoms/sickness in their children and keep them home if necessary. At drop off, social distancing and mask wearing is required for parents/families and they have cones set up at parking spots to facilitate this. The children are temp checked daily before entry into the school. I thought maybe there would be some hesitancy or meltdowns with the changes, but it's funny how resilient and flexible kids are-- this is just part of their routine now! At pick up, parents call on or shortly before arrival and your children are brought out to you in a timely manner.. We joke about curbside pickup! They have really streamlined this process to make it as smooth and easy as possible. While parents have not been allowed into the building and this may be difficult for new or returning families, I have not found this to be an issue-- actually our drop off/pick up has been quicker because of it! We feel completely comfortable and safe. I can assure you, this facility was clean and routinely disinfected before COVID, and I am confident with the measures they are taking within the building to ensure the health and safety of everyone during this pandemic. Communication with the administration and teachers has certainly changed as we have not been able to have as much face-to-face time, but they have utilized the Procare app (they send so many pictures in real time throughout the day!), amped up email communication, and even occasional handwritten notes home/Happy Grams. They are super responsive with replies and questions. We even had a socially distanced parent/teacher meeting in the parking lot at the start of the academic year. I cannot say enough about the quality of this school. Five stars is just not enough! The entire staff have each loved on our kids as if they were their own, and my girls are thriving because of their care and curriculum. We drive 20 minutes from our house/work just to attend this school. They have played such a role in our lives and truly feel like family to us after all these years! The staff have continued to show up to work with a smile on their face and provide the highest quality care even during these uncertain and unprecedented times.
