"The store reeks deeply of cigarettes. Maybe it’s due to the bat next door, but it smells like someone has been smoking in their little office room for a long time. I avoid it because of this, even though they have the coconut water I can’t find nearly anywhere else."

"This place never fails to impress me. They have a GREAT selection of beers and vino. On top of that, they stayed open when the rest of Austin was frozen over in the worst winter storm I’ve ever experienced. Keep on keepin on, friends!"

"Ed is cool, usually.Typical no day off privately owned corner store but they keep the beer cold. I used to go in there allot but I moved further into town. Still visit now and again."

"I have to say that I didn't go into this store for about the first 8 years that I lived in the neighborhood. No particular reason, just went other places. Then, one day, I met the owner, Omar. Omar is the nicest, most genuine person you'd ever want to meet. The people who work there are also really nice although they are not extroverts. If you have a problem, ask for Omar. They have a great selection of items!"
