"Kind folks working at this gas station. However……. The reason for my low rating: They charge 50 cents for ice in my own cup. I asked and they confirmed that I was being charged for the ice with my purchase. I felt like dumping it out right there but thought better of it and went ahead and paid for it so I’d have ice for the bottle of tea I’d just bought. There are so many stores in the area that don’t charge for ice if it’s in your own cup…especially when you purchase something else from their store. I simply don’t appreciate being nickeled & dimed so I’m happy to take my business elsewhere in the future."
"Everybody in here is very friendly and accommodating. They place an emphasis on making sure their customers get what they want. I come in 2-3 times a week. They’re part of my South Austin community, let’s take care of them by giving them our business! I’ll be sad when we move. -Katie (the blonde with tattoos)"
"Sometimes stuff can be a bit overpriced and you HAVE to check the expiration dates (rancid sour cream, anyone?) That being said, the folks who own this are truly small business owners so I don't mind supporting our community. And back in the day, when I used to run the concession stand for track and field day at Pleasant Hill Elementary across the street, they were always super happy to donate ice."
