"This was a total joke. all Hampton inns are so much better Than this one. it is old and out dated. the paint is terrible and the internet is very slow. dial up is faster. and it stinks. you will not want to ever stay here."

"In room coffee pot was located in the bathroom next to the shower. Downstairs coffee was out during breakfast. Coffee cups provided were not useable with the sleeves. Stains on the furniture in the room."

"I travel to the RGV area regularly for work. I am tax exempt as I work for an education organization, so I always have to fill out a form upon checking in. I usually carry this form with me but forgot it this time. When I asked for one at the front desk she said she didn't have any, which I have never heard before from a hotel desk. I figured that I would just submit the form when I returned from my travels to get a credit back instead, but the person/manager was not helpful at all, even though many other Hilton hotels have never had a problem doing this for me. They kept saying they couldn't issue a credit because of "accounting" and would not assist me in my request, including the manager. I finally had to get my boss involved after several phone calls who managed to have a credit issued. Their service and stinginess made it exceptionally difficult to complete a very simple task. Also, I arrived late around 11 PM to check in only to find all doors locked. The lady at the front desk said it's because there is a large homeless population around the area, so I give it one star for its location. The rooms are very average. I have stayed in much better Hilton hotels and will not be returning to this location, mainly for the service and location."

"We stayed in a double queen suite. It was definitely roomy. Staff was super friendly and helpful right off the bat! Parking was easy and hotel was easy to get to, it's not to far from the freeway. Had a nice pool and breakfast was free and good. They also had a coffee bar with all the goodies for it. That was available throughout the night. Bathroom was also clean."

"Was here for two weeks to attend a training!! This was the best service one could ever ask for! From the cleanliness of the room to the breakfast and gym equipment…everything was top notch! But what really made this stay was the great service from front desk clerks Ralph and Ace who went above and beyond for me and my co worker! Thank you … while I missed my home and family, it felt nice to be treated like family by you all!"
