LA Nails

"I went into the nail salon today to get a pedicure, there was a bit of a wait but I was fine with waiting. Once I sat down, someone started working on me a few minute later. I had mentioned that one of my nails is slightly shorter because it broke and it did not hurt at all. I didn’t even notice it broke when it happened. He continually mentioned my nail was shorter, almost as if he wanted to embarrass me. He then asked me if I had gotten a spray tan that day, I told him no. He ask “Well when did you get one?” Like that has anything to do with my service at all. Instead of trying to get to know me or ask me what my needs were with my pedicure. He was about done with my service and I noticed he did not file my nails, so I asked him to do so. He filed them AFTER painting my nails, who files nails after painting them? I’ve never seen that in my life. Once he was done, he acted like he wanted me out of the chair quickly. So I just cashed out and left. I am not happy with my service and I will not be back."

"I have started going to LA Nails once I came to EKU and they are awesome! They get me in and out very quickly and still do a great job. The staff there is amazing and friendly."

"I went in on Friday to get a fill and have a nail replaced because I broke it. After my appointment everything was fine, a little discomfort but that’s usual with acrylics. The next morning my nail under my acrylic I had replaced hurt, I figured it would go away. I was wrong. I went in on the next Wednesday so they could take that nail off because i knew something was wrong. They basically told me no and to get over it. I popped it off myself, and lo and behold my nail is INFECTED. I really love this place, but they completely ignored my pain and dismissed me because they didn’t want to “waste” any of their time dealing with me."

"I felt like they were in such a hurry. From start to finish I felt pushed around and moved from 3 different seats just for a fill on my acrylics and designs. The layer they placed on my nails feels very thin and there are places on the side of my thumbnail that my natural nail peeks though.i felt more like a number than a person. Excellent speed of service but they could definitely work on customer service. They never even told me their names. Told me they only have gel nail polish so I didn't have a choice between that or my usual regular nail polish."

"I had a very positive experience here. I was greeted as soon as I entered and didn't have to wait long before it was my turn. I went at about 11AM, and there was only one other customer. It was great. The woman that did my nails was kind and very professional. The store was clean and organized. Overall, I'll be back every two weeks to get my nails redone!"
