"Before you go to the grocery store, check here first! Stopped in for the first time a few weeks back. I picked up some fajita seasoned beef and tortillas. Cooked the fajitas up tonight and they were excellent! Just got back from Prolific where we picked up some fajita chicken, more tortillas, gouda cheese and some ground beef - a chuck, NY strip and brisket blend. Can't wait to make some burgers! Price wise seems like you will pay about the same, maybe 10% more than you would at Kroger for most stuff, but the quality at Prolific seems to be WAY better. They also have some exotic meats - Alligator, Elk, Goat as well as a good selection of seafood. As an added bonus, if you like to sous vide cook, a lot of their meats are vacuum sealed in a chamber sealer, so you can go straight to cooking from the fridge/freezer. Staff is outstanding as well. Will be visiting this place A LOT!!! *2/1/24* Cooked up the fajita seasoned chicken breast we had bought and thrown in the freezer, FANTASTIC!!!!! half the portion fed 4 of us, have the other half left still."
