"Painful display of illiteracy: Asked the clerk why the Easter discount was not applied to items. She rudely stated that the items I have are excluded from the offer. I say that that’s too bad and that the print out of the offer uses the word “include” and that they might consider fixing that. She huffs off, comes back with the paper, points the word “include” and painfully attempted to ‘hooked on phonics’ sound read the paper to me, pronouncing the word incorrectly as “excludes”. I just looked at this pointless attempt to power trip combined with the shocking inability to read and went “okay”. Dollar general please offer your employees basic literacy services. They deserve not to embarrass themselves. Either that or make sure corporate uses spell check."
"I love that the store is very clean and most of the employees are friendly, what I didn't like was being in a wheelchair and every other isle blocked off by both empty/full carts that made it hard for me to navigate."
