"I went for a massage with JOHN in August while staying at the resort. It was so incredibly effective and healing we drove up from Houston today (Nov) for another of John’s massages. He was amazing once again! Tears of gratitude both times after leaving. The spa is also great with a steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. I leave feeling rejuvenated and would highly recommend John to anyone!!"

"I read several articles about this spa being really nice and being one of the top spas in Texas. I was not impressed, to say the least. The adult only pool outside was dirty. The water was cloudy, and the water had dead crickets, bees, and leaves, among other mystery floating particles. The hot tub outside was equally unappealing the bottom in one corner was covered in a thick layer of sand dirt and grit. There was only two umbrellas over the lounge chairs but many bases all empty and in inconvient spots that made it impossible to move your lounge because they were in the way and too heavy to move. Also note this is the only coed ammenity if u want to spend time with your partner. My robe was stained along with many of the towels laid out for guest. This place does not scream luxury. If you're willing to make the drive, head to Kahlari spa."
