Family Dollar

"I wish I could give this place zero stars but I was forced to pick one. So I called and I spoke to a really really nice guy named Pat and I told him my situation that my car was broken into right before Christmas. My handbag was stolen and the receipt to this Christmas tree I bought was in my handbag, and all I wanted to do was exchange it for food because I had to replace all my cards and I had no money because all my money was stolen and I was waiting for replacements. He said to bring it in and he would try to see what we could do so I came in and I was greeted by this really rude man name Sy. He proceeded to tell me that he couldn’t take it back because he didn’t know if it came from the store and I said it’s from Family Dollar. It’s got your sticker on it and so he’s like let me see has it been opened and I’m like no sir so I go to the car I grab it and immediately goes. I’m not taking it back. It ain’t mine and I’m like yes it is. It has your sticker on it and I show him the price sticker and he’s like no this is not my store And I’m like OK well, can you tell me what store it is? And he’s very short with me and he just says “no” so I replied my God do you have to be so rude I just told you that my car was broken into. I have nothing and all I want is to exchange it for food. I’m not asking for money back and it’s only $25 which he repeats he won’t help me. Then tries to backtrack and tell me he wasn’t rude and he doesn’t know how to look up store numbers and I’m like and you’re the manager to which he only replies no, just the assistant. I will not only never shop at that store. I will never shop at a Family Dollar again. All I can do is pray that this rude human never has to deal with going hungry and being treated in the manner he treated me. I can’t believe family dollars choices in management. I think Pat needs to trade positions with Sy. Family dollar would be much better off for it, I’m can only assume I’m not the first customer who Sy has run off that will never be back."

"This is store #07154 Just walked out of this store location, time 2:PM. Cashier through my receipt on the counter, but of course I passed my money in this lady hand. Bad enough the store stinks, but your attitude shouldn't smell either...Just as much as white people don't want to touch blacks, I'm a PERSON that doesn't want to be touched either!!!"

"Store is close each time I try to stop by during regular business hours. Not much product. Shelves were empty"

"I just went in there just now ( a few mins ago) the cashier tells me to leave my bag by the door, I’ve been in here many times before no one has ever told me to drop my bag by the door. I asked her if I look like I need to steal anything in the store? I mean I ACTUALLY WORK. I walked out. Never again. You people are full of it. My mistake for even going in there."

"I went in this hellish store today and the cashier and manager was so rude. While in the store I notice an item (safety alarm). It was surprisingly in the clearance section. Yet I it didnt have a price on it. I searched for a rep and saw a manager and rep so I asked them "how much does this alarm.... the rep walked passed me before I ended my sentence. The I finished my last word "cost" the manager walked passed me and said we don't know it's a new item. So I go behind them one was a cashier she goes behind the register. I asked the manager why is it in clearance if it's new. She said we are busy I can't help you right now. I said can someone help me? She said " I'm the manager not right now". I put everything in my hands down and politely walked out the store. I don't have to beg to be assisted. I will spend my money elsewhere. Zero Stars!"
