F&F Japanese Grill

"This was my second time visiting this restaurant, as I visited last year while speaking at Texas A&M. Just as they did last time, they did not disappoint!! I ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi meal and OH MY GOODNESS!!! The steak was juicy and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The veggies perfectly complimented the meal and the rice was delicious!! One thing that I will make mention of is the fact that the food is prepared to order and if you're in a hurry, I would recommend calling your order in before you get there, as we waited for at least 25 minutes for our order. We weren't in a hurry, so we were OK with it. But it was definitely worth the wait! We originally ordered our food to go but ended to up eating almost all of it in the restaurant. They are very well priced, especially for the quality of the food that they cook. My meal was 14.99 for both steak and shrimp; and I've definitely paid more at other hibachi restaurants. Looks like I've got a favorite new spot and a new tradition because I will be visiting every time I speak there."

"Great Location with a lovely dining room. The restaurant is a nice mix of modern and hibachi. Shrimp was delicious. Steak could be seasoned more. I would go back again but it doesn't take my spot as a favorite Japanese restaurant. 3.75/5"

"The place should not be called a Japanese grill. This was more like a Korean restaurant although they did have some hibachi style food and gyoza. I went in expecting sushi rolls and things like that. I almost walked out after walking in and standing at the counter for about 5 minutes while a girl was standing at a register looking at a receipt or something that had printed out, she never said I'll be with you in a minute, or hello, or anything. When a guy came from the Food Lion with the takeout order and called someone's name I asked him if if I should have called my order in in advance because I wasn't getting waited on standing there and he said no he would take my order. He was very nice and the girl with the long black ponytail continued to ignore me! The food was okay but I will never go back. I would highly recommend Choi's Korean restaurant and Sushi Masa for all you can eat sushi and other items."

"I was so close to giving this place 5 stars. The establishment itself is in great condition. It looks to be very new and clean overall. I loved that you can watch the cooks make your food. Our food came out pretty quickly, and it was very, very good. The chicken was cooked perfectly, as were my noodles and veggies. My steak was a little more well done than I would have liked. However, I wasn't asked how I wanted it to be cooked, so I assumed it's just not an option here for some reason. My husband and I both agreed that there definitely could have been more veggies with the meals. There was only cabbage, broccoli, and carrots. Most places I've been to like this include zucchini as well and sometimes mushrooms and water chestnuts. Fewer noodles instead would have been fine, but they were absolutely delicious. The sauces that came with our orders were fantastic as well! The bathrooms weren't clean, unfortunately (I always have my husband check out the men's room for me). But, they weren't filthy or disgusting in any way, just trash overflowing and on the floor. Overall, the quality of the food matched the prices, and I would definitely visit again."

"I had no idea what I was going to expect when I first walked into this place but after I sat down and ate I would have to say I had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and we're happy to explain to us the menu items. I had the steak and shrimp combo and it did not disappoint. My wife had the chicken and steak combo and we shared a flying chicken appetizer. I enjoyed the combo and so did my wife but I feel the appetizer can cut back a little bit on the sauce. Other than that we had a great experience and we definitely will come back again."
