"A chef and cook's dream grocery store. Everything is fresh, so clean and organized. The mushroom selection is the main reason I love Central market. This is HEB's version of whole foods but Better!"

"We recently stopped by Central Market (N Lamar) with out-of-town guests to pick up a few things. And, we wanted to show our guests around the store. We live farther away from CM than in times past, so it's not often that we're in that part of town. CM market is an amazing place full of just about anything you could want. Almost every section of the store is over-flowing with the "the best of" whatever you're looking for... produce, meats, seafood, beer, wine, gelato, bakery, soup and salad bar, etc. You name it. We didn't have time to sit down at the CM cafe, but this is a place to get consistently good grub. Recommend CM, even if you're not going to shop for groceries, it's a cool place just to wander around!"

"Every Saturday, this place hosts concerts. The wonderful children's playground and the incredibly cool atmosphere, especially in the evening, create a fantastic experience. I had the pleasure of attending one of their Saturday evening concerts, and it was truly memorable. The live music added a special touch to the already amazing atmosphere. Families gathered on the spacious outdoor area, with children enjoying the playground while adults chatted and savored delicious food and drinks. The venue is family-friendly and welcoming. The children's playground is well-maintained and provides a safe and fun space for kids to play, which is a big plus for parents. As the sun sets, the place transforms into a magical setting with ambient lighting and a cozy, welcoming ambiance that's perfect for socializing or simply enjoying the evening. The combination of live music, a great play area for kids, and the warm evening ambiance makes this spot a winner for weekend gatherings. I highly recommend visiting, especially on a Saturday night, to enjoy the unique and lively experience it offers"

"My partner and I come here very often. One time we came at 8:30 pm and we’re practically kicked out at closing because we were strolling down every aisle and section and lost track of time!! There’s so much to see and buy here, exotic things and special products. We especially love their bread and the mocha Katz coffee is one of the best ever."

"My fav groceries place over the weekend, fruits and veggies so fresh. So many various and international groceries and etc. today they run a theme known as “Passport Portugal” and exploring the Portugal culinary food. Is a wonderful experience. We love the desserts and cakes."
