H-E-B plus!

"The grocery store is fine, the rating is for the terrible experiences with ordering for pickup or delivery. If you order packaged items, you'll be fine for the most part. But just beware about picking produce. I don't know if they do any kind of training for these shoppers, but the decisions they make while picking produce for you is just mind boggling. Here is an example. We asked for a tomato, and this is what we got. It's practically rotting and not even red. Would this person even buy this for themselves if they wanted a tomato? This is just one of MANY examples we've had with our orders. I'll add more pictures of rotten produce that gets picked for our orders."

"It can get pretty busy, so I would avoid holidays and peak hours if you are able. Edit: Gonna have to update my review. I love this Heb but they don't schedule enough cashiers and baggers. It is a random Saturday at 8 AM and I've been waiting in line for like 15 minutes, there are only 3 lines open for probably 30 people. Unfortunately this is not uncommon. Edit 2: just got home and my refrigerated items are warm and frozen stuff is melting. Thankfully I "got to" check myself out even though I had more than 15 items (which I didn't want to do). I waited for probably 20 minutes and the people around me were still waiting when I left for self checkout."

"Just wow! The cheese shop was so well stocked and they answered all of my questions. Found my favorite cheese!....which they let me sample before buying. The displays were freaking amazing! I haven't seen the store look like this ever. I mean, it always looks good, but this was just above and beyond. Just wow. One of the girls in the cheese shop helped me and she was so sweet and knowledgeable. I just can't say enough about this area of the deli. Hopefully, the pictures will fill in any of the blanks for you! The variety and class and tasteful displays blew me away. I can't wait to go back and shop again! An absolute pleasure to see and experience. :)"

"I love this HEB, especially their produce department. Katelyn and Crystal that work there always have their fruit and veggie platters fully stocked and very organized and everything is so fresh.They do an amazing job. This is the place to go to if you need last minute things or even if you going to a bbq or a party to just quickly grab one or two of their platters of fruit and veggies."
