"Basic pedicure was done in less than 12 minutes. I spent most of my time there waiting on them to dry. Tech asked if I wanted anything to drink…Forgot to give me the wine. No big deal especially considering how short the service was. The front desk girl gave me a water bottle. Extremely rushed service for NO reason…there was hardly anyone there when I arrived. The hand painted French tip is very sloppy. There’s white polish on my skin. Shape incorrect. I asked for basic square shape…I can’t even describe the shape I have. The top clear coat entirely too thick to the point my toes are one day old and the big toe has already chipped. Total waste of $36…could’ve done this myself. The nail tech that serviced me basically did whatever she wanted. I’m not going to make it a race thing but It felt like she automatically assumed she wasn’t getting a tip so she decided to do LESS than the bare minimum. I didn’t speak up because it’s uncomfortable and I don’t like confrontation…especially when the nail tech has eyes and can see exactly what’s she’s doing. I wasn’t going to write a review, but every time I look at my toes..I get upset. As an esthetician myself, I’m very disappointed but whatever. I will never cheat on my nail tech again at Milano Nail Spa West University. I would’ve preferred to make the drive into the city than get the service I received at Nails of America Cinco Ranch Katy."

"I'm sure they do some good work. My wife and I recently went for mani-pedi maybe got the new girl ... Manager was closely watching her do a terrible job. We were going to try to live with it but I wanted more for my 150 and my wife was just going to go somewhere else for a redo. I returned for a refund they reluctantly and rudely gave it back they might not be so nice to you. ... oh yes I think he told me not to come back ... as if I would ... My second and last bad overpriced underserviced experience at Nails of America,"

"Worst ever. Been coming here for 5 years, but last 3x in a row were AWFUL. Had a different tech every time, but same poor result- rushed/incomplete service and terrible outcome. I asked for a gel manicure and for the 3rd time, the tech used a mechanical grinder to remove my last gel (reducing my nails to paper) and after I chose a sparkly white color, asked me to switch to "flat white w glitter", which it turned out was. $5 surcharge...didn't push back my cuticles, no wash/soak, just grind and paint, it was a mess w paint all around my fingers (like my 8 yr old did it]....and of course in less than a week they look awful after bubbling back from being painted onto the cuticles..."
