"I just want to know why some of the items here are pretty much double priced here ? bag of cat food at H-E-B is five something….here It’s about 10 bucks 13 crimes red wine it’s like $20 here and at H-E-B it’s like 10 bucks.. I asked and they said it just might be worth the trip to go to H-E-B then. Yeah, la Fiesta might be worth a trip if you don’t want to be around a lot of people, but yet the prices are jacked up. Also, if you see the seasoned pork or anything seasoned in the back on the wall marked down do not get it because that meat is bad and the smell and nasty look of it is disguised by seasoning."

"I go here when I need ingredients for Mexican food. The store carries many items not available at Walmart or HEB. Some of those items include crumbled white cheese and mini taco corn tortillas. Prices at the store are decent, many items cheaper than the major chain stores, other items a little more than elsewhere. It really depends what your shopping for. Produce at this store seems to always been in stock, fresh and at decent prices. I have seen some areas in the store needing cleaning particularly in the meet and cheese depts. Dripping water and blood on the floor next to the freezer and cheese that was expired and hadnt been removed from the shelf. Its a good place to shop if you live in the neighborhood."
