"At this store on my receipts, there sometimes is a message saying p:pur brand savings - you saved $0.40" Are they talking about all brands sold exclusively at HEB (HEB, Hill County Fare, Mi Tienda, Cocina Waref, Econo Max, etc.)? If I buy Hill County Fair can goods, they are c h eager than HEB can goods. Would the receipt say lI saved even though HEB brand and Hill C county Fa I r are exclusive to HEB? Technically, I save when I buy Hill County Fare over HEB. What national brands do they compare their HEB brand to? For example, there are lots of canned corn brands (Hill Country Fare, HEB, Del Monte, Green Giant, etc.). I may save 5 cents over 1 brand and say 8 cents over another. Any savings is good, but indicate the brand we saved over."

"I go to this H-E-B quite frequently, and the portioning for the premade sandwiches has gone down exponentially since moving here two years ago. There’s twice as much bread as there is sandwich ingredients in the sandwiches and it is not worth five dollars. It’s not even worth two to be honest. Severely disappointed. They used to fill the sandwiches up like crazy"
"I like the quality of the place it's always clean and good quality store brands that are normally higher quality. The fresh food is really good. The customer service is pretty good and even the smaller stores inside like the phone shop seems better then most stand alone locations. Really good prices and they show you the price per weight or volume which is really appreciated."
