"My 89 yr old Mom had me looking for Pork Carnitas at Central Market/Gucci HEB on Broadway. Not the butchers or deli employees knew anything about what I was talking about. I gave up at Gucci HEB. I drove to HEB here at Fredericksburg Rd and West Ave area. I walked to meat market area asking a gentleman working unloading boxes, Roland was his name on the name tag. Roland went beyond the line of duty in assisting me immediately knowing exactly what I was talking about! Roland was polite, friendly, courteous, kind and extremely professional. Thank you HEB for having Roland here assisting all the consumers that come in here. My Mom was so happy! I'm just thankful I was able to find, purchase and make her day! CGR"
"My favorite part about this heb is the fresh tortillas they make on a daily bases. However, today I walked by the bakery. And I noticed these pastries and I had to get one. It was delicious I'll probably have to get another one next time."
"The quality of the products at this H-E-B have drastically decreased in recent months. I use the delivery app and have received rotten and expired produce, meat, and even yeast. I understand if one avocado in the bag is mushy but I’m getting a bag of mush, and grey meat! What is this? Even when I go in person I’m finding grey meat on the shelves. Disgusting. Edit: I called the number and was refunded on the Avocados, Yeast, Meat, and Smashed Eggs I originally forgot to mention. I appreciate it but please have your shoppers better trained, and reminded to inspect the products. It’s not hard to do. I’ll give you one star back for making things right."
"It is funny I don't go here more often, I usually head to the HEB at Olmos Park because they have more selections but I enjoyed this HEB and I prefer this one. They have a very good selection and I like how they planned the isles in the middle of the store where it won't back up the people entering. It is a great layout, sorry I'm a nerd for that. Great prices and friendly staff. Sadly I needed a bigger selection of the gardening section but still enjoyed my visit."
