"Everything is broken down. We paid for an hour of play and played may half of that. We were stopped multiple times for repairs. Had to switch lanes and sat there waiting for help for 5 minutes. Time was not credited. Really a waste of money."
"The bowling lanes are so old, they drop pins a lot and you may not get an accurate score. The workers are not rude but not exceptionally friendly either. However, the pool tables are nice."
"We had pizza and the double meat cheese burger. Both were excellent and fairly priced. The staff were friendly and attentive. There's bowling, bingo or music with dancing. Great time good venue."
"I bowl here three times a week. Every week it’s harder to come here. Stupid policies, lack of maintenance, and poor treatment. 1. Lack of buckets allowed in bowling area? How stupid… I’m paying a premium for beer and you make me leave the alley to go to the bar for a beer? Then ask for a tip to open my beer? Absolutely Terrible policy. I just pass on the beer. 2. Alleys that tear your expensive balls up… I’ve bought two new bowling balls and have bowled here exclusively… all was fine until we started noticing damage to our $200 investment… we aren’t talking nicks and scratches but actual chunks missing out of the ball.. on normally maintained alleys this does not happen… but I’m sure they aren’t investing any money in the lanes. 3. Bartenders adding drinks because she mixed the order up and treating us like second customers because we ain’t playing pool. This place has become a pool hall, everything is catered there. Bowl elsewhere. There are some great employees that try to make a difference but they can only do so much."
"Loved it, don't just stay near the Seawall when visiting Galveston, go the other way! Found a taco truck that was awesome sitting right outside this old bowling alley. Bowling was great, very clean and helpful staff, even the patrons were very friendly and helpful. Grandkids,and us, had a great time!"
