"We love working with Carter Floors on our projects. Always meeting and exceeding expectations! We are a General Contractor and builder who uses Carter Floors on all of our jobs. They always meet their deadlines and the bids are solid. We also love working with Staci on all of our design and ordering needs. She is wonderful to work with and we could not say enough good things about partnering with her. Highly recommend Carter Floors and More."
"They did the tile in our master bathroom and walk in closet. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The tile looks really good. My only complaints are punctuality and communication. The installers were 2 hours late the first day and 1 hour late the other 2 days, although they stayed until 7 on one day and 9 the next. They were supposed to send someone over to look at their work and no one ever came."
"I wish that I could give them zero stars. I bought Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring from them, Southern Heritage to be specific. 1. We didn't know that our upstairs subfloor would be particle board and extremely unlevel but Carter's floors did based on their experience and they didn't mention anything. 2. They didn't inform me that the tile in my bathrooms would be much higher than the new floor so the transition is very very odd and not satisfactory. 3. I was told that they would level the floor so to me that meant they would take tile before installing to do what was necessary to level any unlevel spots. In a phone call later AFTER purchase I was told that they would not level the floors because they were upstairs and on subfloor not slab. They ended up spot patching but never used a level 4. They were supposed to move furniture but i moved it 95% of the time. 5. The installer no showed, showed up late, left front door open during humid weather, opened upstairs windows with air conditioner running and humid weather 6. Didn't take any steps like putting up plastic to contain the dust from sanding and didn't have sander with vacuum attachment to mitigate the dust created. The picture of the dust is on the opposite side of the room from where the work was taking place and downstairs. The work was upstairs. *see picture 7. Left gaps in the flooring around doors that enter into attic space. I had to call them to come back to fix this area. *see picture 8. Did a shotty job of cutting molding to fit 9. There was a depressed area in the hallway that they applied so much patch to that it became a hill. They sent a secondary installer to fix and he added more patch and tried to level it out instead of sanding down the hill that shouldn't have been there in the first place. Because he added more patch it then created a lump on the opposite side of the hallway. Now 6 weeks later they are sending a secondary installer out again to rip up the hallway for the 3rd time to sand down what he should have sanded down the first time. *see picture 10. The flooring makes a crackling sound when you walk on it which according to a google search are the click lock boards slipping against each other because they flex and the sub floor flexes. 11. I have asked them to admit that they sold the wrong product for the wrong situation and they refuse. If the floor wasn't going to end up being flat then it never should have been installed. There are high spots, there are spots where you step on it and you feel it fall til you hit the low spot in the subfloor. My recommendation is to absolutely NOT use Carter Floors go to someone who knows their product and the right situations to apply it. I have even seen lovely rigid LVP that might do better but what I was sold Southern Heritage is extremely flexible so it follows and exaggerates the flaws in the subfloor. I have spoken with several others who are not happy with their Carter's Floors installation but have not left reviews to that affect. If you don't then other people come along and follow your same fait of bad work."
"We bought a house that had one room that needed wood flooring to match the rest of the house. I took a sample to Home Depot and they couldn't find a match. I happened to drive by Carter Floors and More and decided to stop in. Kerry was busy but she was able to look at my sample and find a match within a couple of minutes. I asked her to price it up and the price was reasonable. She was also able to get the installation set up quickly. Her installation team did a fantastic job and were in and out in no time. The only small issue was that the trim didn't really match. But the good thing is that Arthur, on Kerry's team, is the one that pointed it out and he offered to come back later and re-stain it. I didn't even have to suggest it. All in all, a great experience. I would highly recommend Carter Floors and More!"
"First of all, everyone at Carters has been super nice and helpful. They worked hard to meet our schedule and budget and the floors are beautiful. Fantastic installation job, too."
