"Yall know how walmart has a stereotype of only having a few checkout lanes open? So this store got rid of all the checkout lanes. Now its all self checkout. Except only a few of them are actually open. So its the same problem as before except now there's two less people on their payroll. Companies these days really don't gaf about the shopping experience."

"I've been shopping at this store for almost a year now. There used to be these two ladies who would stand at the front of the store, seemingly unconcerned about anything other than keeping an eye on the customers to ensure they didn't steal anything. When I initially started shopping here, there were a few homeless guys in front asking for money (Jeremy). I'm fine for aiding the homeless, but sometimes he seemed a little intimidating. As if he were hiding, he would stoop behind the shopping carts and ask, "Excuse me, Miss or Sir, do you have a dollar?" It didn't help that he spoke in a deep voice. I am easily shocked when someone leaps out from somewhere I didn't expect. There were a few occurrences that made shopping at Walmart uncomfortable at the time, but the environment has improved, and a very respectable gentleman passes around the store now. It does not appear like the employees feel intimidated by him, so hopefully they approved of his presence. It seems that they have new management, which I appreciate. I wish I had his name so that I could mention him. He walks through the store with respect and helpfulness. I hope they keep this up. It's nice to have somewhere to shop where you can go and comfortably shop."

"I do everything I can to avoid going to this store even though it is close to where I live. I only shop here when I absolutely need something right away and only if I'm pressed for time and I can't drive to another store. This means that I visit this store maybe 2 or 3 times a year (if that much), and each time I go I'm reminded of why this store sucks so much. On my last visit, I had finished paying for my groceries and was on my way out with my cart. A lady that worked there was sweeping the floor and had her back turned towards me in the very narrow isle that customers have to use to exit the store. I politely said excuse me. She stopped sweeping, turned towards me and sarcastically said "your excused." I kept on walking and all I was thinking, as I was walking out, was how it was just too good to be true that I would not have a bad experience at this store on this day. It never fails to happen. I've read some of the other negative comments posted here and I can tell you from my own experience most of what's being described also happened to me at this store."

"Firstly Yelp reviews are more accurate as far as ratings go, since reviews cannot be paid for removal like google reviews.( Just something to note) Secondly I rarely go to Walmart because what can I say service is always terrible? Seems to still ring true in the year of 2024. I just happened to be in the area, because my Dad lives here, and he needed me to pick up somethings for him from Walmart. Cool. Arrives at Walmart, Goes in grabs everything on his list. The issue arises when it came to check out. There are no check out lanes open just Self- Check Out. The "employees" that are their are all huddled together, mostly chattering/gossiping. Im in the Self check out lane checking out the few items that were on the List and suddenly I feel eyes on me heavy. Employee Nisa was staring me down while checking out groceries. Now mind you prior no one else was being heavily watched like that until I pull up to check out. I definitely feel like i was racially profiled. "In my mind, I was like i know im not getting starred down for checking out some canned beans and water" but here we are. If you are staring me down that hard why not just scan my groceries? Or better yet open the Cashier Lanes? Service alone is terrible, and Im aware they probably dont care. Writing this in hopes of Corporate will see it. Staff needs a coaching/training on how to treat people of all backgrounds and needs a revamp training on Customer Service. Until then go where your treated best. There's always HEB and Target"

"I love this Walmart so much. It’s such a nice Walmart with a large variety of products and nice employees. It’s very clean and has everything you want from a super Walmart, minus the clothes and car stuff. It has about 6 self checkouts that DONT TAKE CASH. And the traditional checkouts have very kind employees. Highly recommend this Walmart."
