"The employees here are slow af. There is zero sense of urgency. However, they are all the absolute nicest people in the world. They are overpriced. They are always out of stock of items and don’t get stocked for WEEKS! The only reason this place is still in business is because there are no close by competitors. Typical Albertsons model. Once an HEB or Kroger opens up nearby i guarantee this place goes out of business."

"Even when you enter your phone number to get a discount the 2L of Dr pepper is 50% more than Walmart or family dollar and the Hormel bacon precooked is still a $1.50 more even with a dollar discount from your loyalty card. I'm going to start watching more, seems like the race is on to steal money. Didn't realize I was paying so much for the Small things thinking I was getting a good deal with my card. I definitely don't get fruit and vegetables from Walmart I got a Central market. but they get you on this little stuff I'm not sure what the advantage is of even going to Tom thumb anymore. If I want to pay high price for convenience I'll just go to family Dollar_ snap. *on a side note one of the managers there Kenneth is one of the nicest most enthusiastic cool managers I've seen at a grocery store. that's why they got one extra star. Walmart $1.46 2L Dr pepper Tom thumb 299 2L Dr pepper family Dollar $2.47 2L Dr pepper"

"I like Tom Thumb near me because I'm friends with a worker there and he's always friendly and helpful to me. Also they have a great deli and fresh produce area. Usually, they carry my favorite brand of coffee. And the store near me is only 3 minutes from my house. But I do go to Kroger for cheaper store-brand kitty litter."

"After taking the bus to the bank I decided to walk across the street to pick up a few things at Tom Thumb. I went through the check out and was told my groceries were paid for. The lady that checked out before me paid for my groceries. I looked for her but she was gone. There is no way to thank her now but I will " pay it forward ". Thank so much sweet lady. I remember while inline thinking you were pretty but your generosity and sweet spirit is even prettier"

"Great staff. Insanely overpriced. Like >>100% markup compared to Costco on the 5 items I randomly sampled. Not sure why anyone would shop here unless they enjoy paying 7.50$ for a 9 volt battery."
