Northfield Park, located at 7804 Davis Boulevard in North Richland Hills, Texas, is a spacious 34-acre community park that underwent extensive renovations in 2018. This park is one of the city's original parks and offers a variety of recreational amenities for visitors to enjoy. With lighted softball fields, tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball, shaded playground, a restroom and concession building, pavilions, picnic tables, and walking trails that connect to the John Barfield Trail, there is something for everyone to enjoy at Northfield Park.
The park also features the large Barfield Pavilion, available for rental to accommodate up to 100 people. For larger gatherings, arrangements can be made by contacting Parks Administration. The renovation of Northfield Park was made possible through funding from the city's half-cent sales tax for park development, park impact fees from developers, and a generous grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

"My 2 and 4 year old really love the playground at this park. The equipment is pretty modern and with lots of options and the best of all is that is covered! The park has also several covered areas/pavilions and several huge green areas! It has two very good size dog parks, three baseball fields, a basketball court, two tennis courts, two sand volleyball courts, a jogging track, several grills, places to sit and benches (see pictures). We went to a party there and they even had a piñata hanging from a tree! Great place for parties!!!"
