"This memorial park is relatively small but nice to see and appreciate. This area is where the welcome to SPI sign is at. Very clean and good size area to park and take photos."

"It’s a lovely entrance to South Padre Island. We have a big RV so we knew we did not want to stop on the way in because then we would have to circle back over the bridge to get back on the island, but on our way out we could stop and circle back into the island and over the bridge. There is plenty of space to park a large rig to visit this lovely little park and read the historical signs."
