"Outside-Looks run down Inside-Nice atmosphere Service-Nice people Food-Not worth the price In the form of a buffet, it's barely worth the price. I make less stale, less bland, edible fried rice and crab rangoon at home without trying. I could leave my rice in the pot for a day and it would probably taste better and more fresh."
"The food was all old. The bread was hard as a rock. Crawfish was black and old. The chicken was so hard you could bust a window out with it. Then when we told the lady about it she acted as if she didn’t care one bit."

"Overall, Golden Phoenix is a great place. We've ordered several times for take out, and been there for the buffet once before, all without incident. Unfortunately, during our latest visit (4/30/23), both my husband and I experienced food poisoning symptoms after having the buffet. The food TASTED wonderful - nothing giving any warning. The only thing that hubby & I ate alike was the General Tso's, so I'm fairly certain that was the culprit. Since hubby ate only a small amount, his symptoms were very mild, but mine was more severe. It was MY first experience with f.p., and NOT one I care to repeat, so I can't say we will be back. The service was IMPECCABLE as always and one of the reasons we've always liked the place."
"Food was decent but I got there about 4:45 and it was before the rush hour and some of the food wasn't fresh but the foid that was fresh was good I enjoyed the Jalapeño Chicken Crab Ragoons and eggrolls the most"
