"Let’s be real.. it is really difficult to find halal Chinese restaurants in Dallas. This is one of a few Chinese restaurants that is NOT indo -Chinese. If you must have Chinese, I’d recommend Chef Chen. Their quality and taste has improved. I went twice and both times the food was good. It is on the oily side … so here is your fair warning. I would recommend vegetarian, beef or shrimp over chicken. I didn’t like the overall taste of the chicken, but it might just be me. The service and atmosphere is standard, so don’t expect to get glam photos here. However, the food is good and it’ll hit the spot! Oh, the hot and sour soup is pretty good as well!"
"This place has really good food. The buffet is halal and is the only halal chinese buffet restaurant. I had the buffet and everything that I ate was delicious. In my opinion the orange chicken was the best but everything else was good too. They served the rice directly to the table and afterward served the desert to the table as well. The dessert was delicious too. Highly recommend this place."
"Love their food. I tried their buffet today, and it was amazing. If I'm not wrong, it's the only Halal Chinese buffet in the area. The staff was nice and all the items were really good and fresh. I would definitely recommend this restaurant."
"Surprisingly tasty food! I said surprisingly because when I walked in, I noticed the restaurant is actually run by Muslim South Asian. So I was a bit skeptical about how authentic the food could be. The food was actually great and in good portion. The owner or manager was very friendly as well. A good place for quick Chinese dinner or lunch!"
