"I would advise anyone that actually cares about their life and motorcycle stay as far away from this shop as possible. Terry is incompetent and doesn't understand the care that needed to work on a motorcycle. The best way i can prove that is ask Terry to show you his personal motorcycle and have him start it up. There is literally not enogh space for me to share my experience with this shop but you can e-mail me and I will give you a full review. Here is the highlights: Took a perfectly good Hayabusa without a single machanical issue to them for a complete powder coating job and LED install. Price was $1050 job time 2 weeks. What i got back. 5 weeks later i got my bike back an amazing looking bike however immediately began having problems and noticing poor workmanship Probems: 1. Gears backwards. Instead of 1,N,2,3,4,5,6 it was set 6,5,4,3,2,N,1. 2. First ride out complete front break failure. Brake fluid ruined poweder coating on rims and melted right fairing. 3. Ride two. Clutch Cover and Crank cover bolt came out soaking my bike in oil from clutch cover to back tire. I was on the freeway doing about 80 at the time of failure. At this point I pulled my bike and asked for a refund. Terry then told me he wasn't going to give me a refund but would fix all the problems I told him he wasn't touching my bike again. I later got a refund from his brother Dustin. Terry got upset and wanted to fight me over it. I had a guy I had worked with before completely break the bike down and inspect part and fix problems here is what he found. 4. Break calipers powder coated with gaskets still inside them which is likely what caused break failure. 5: brake pistons scratched up. Likely removed with tool instead of air. Brake pads also worn which isnt their fault but if you have them broken down why not replace them. 6. Clutch cover gasket wrong and alignment pin missing. Likely what caused clutch cover failure. 7. Oil plug stripped causing leaking. 8. Crankshaft plug missing causing oil to leak. 9. Brakeline run incorrectly. 10. Lisence plate bracket didn't fit. 11. Throttle over tightened 12. Frame powder coated with retaing bolts still in. This made it to where engine was not correctly seated or aligned in bike. 13. Chain loose to the point it could be lifted of the sprocket. 14. Belly fairing not installed correctly so it melted on headers. 15. Exhaust chop done wrong and unevenly. 16. No coolant in bike. 17. Windshield cracked. 18. Most LED's had to be redone 19. Forks unevenly installed. 20. Undertail missing Understand these are just the highlightd the story is actually much worst but not enough space. Email me if you still need convincing. Update: 2019 They have since closed the Saginaw location but reopened in Haslet. I just so happened to run into someone at an event whom asked where I take my bikes for maintenance and then proceeded to tell me about his horrible experience with One Up Motorsports. I now know 5 people that have had extremely negative experiences with these guys. Stay away!"
