"Line has 36 people in it. I counted since I stood in it as well! Girl at the front door just standing around looking. 2 people working the register. I ask can yall call someone up here to help. She says no but I see 6 other workers walking around here doing nothin. Rude attitudes and horrible customer service. If I didn’t need these chairs for my son’s football practice I would’ve just walked out. Several people did walk out though"

"It was a complete zoo on 12/23/23 with all of us last minute Christmas shoppers and I must say the store was very clean, super organized all hands on deck approach with the line wrapped around to Sports and outdoors section we were in and out in 25 min! Big shout out to Carlos who helped us load up my kids basketball goal without her seeing it! Carlos thank you! Merry Christmas Academy! More places need to learn from you all how to keep things moving on Xmas-eve-eve! :)"

"I was greeted when I came in. Store was clean and organized. Carts were readily available upon entering. The associates were very knowledgeable, patient and helpful while assisting me in selecting the correct ammunition (purchasing as a gift for my husband). I didn’t have to wait in line to checkout, although it was 8 pm on a Monday. Only giving 3 stars though because JEEZ they are way over priced on activewear compared to other retailers."

"I went today to buy a treadmill. I waited 1hr nobody came to help me even though I kept ringing the help bell, I even went and told the old gentleman at the checkout desk he then called someone from back store to help but unfortunately he had no Idea about the exercise equipments.. so I didn’t buy the treadmill .. they kept Saying they are shortage of staff.. I got few shirts and trousers and Also got elliptical machine. I had 2 welcome coupons of 15% each from academy sports. One i used for clothing but unfortunately they fooled me . I came home and checked the receipt and they gave me $5 discounts instead of 15% and also I was fooled about the second coupon I tried to used for the elliptical machine. I gave the guy coupon. He charged me the whole amount and then denied saying he couldn’t add coupon because he already charged money on my credit card. Unbelievable they are all so experts in fooling customers. I drove 30 minutes to buy stuffs but I will never come back again."

"I went to Academy for some plain t-shirts and a big ball to exercise but I looked around and I found out that if one needs anything related to camping, fishing or exercise equipment, this is a great place to shop, also one can even find decent clothes. I love the store."
