"We were all packed and ready to leave East Austin for our 7 hour drive to Big Bend… we walked outside to a nail in our wheel and our tire was dead flat. Oh no. We called some shops nearby and the earliest tire repair appointment was 24 hours away. Determined to make it on the road, we asked “is there anywhere else we can go?” By some divine force we were pointed to Eastside. We pulled up and a man, who spoke few works and must’ve lived a past life as part of a NASCAR pit crew, kicked off our tire and had it patched all within a 10 minute span. I’m just disappointed I didn’t run a stopwatch. $20 later, we were on our way to Big Bend. Trip saved."
