"Garment is my favorite shop on the planet. Their items are unrivalled in terms of quality, curation and uniqueness. Every single person in the boutique and on social media goes out of their way to make the client’s experience the best possible; they give personalized attention to each person based on purchase history and tastes and are, without a doubt, a place where anything you get is guaranteed to be amazing. Keep up the good work! Andrea"

"The owner takes it upon herself to insult her potential sellers by making uneducated insinuations regarding the authenticity of inherited pieces. Even when presented with a verified Entrupy Certificate she chose to insist that I was lying and attempting to press upon her, an inauthentic 1970’s Christian Dior tote. She claimed that there was no date stamp.... obviously she knows nothing about Dior because if she DID she’d know that they only began their date stamping to curb counterfeiting of the Lady Dior bag in 1997 after the passing of Princess Diana caused the bag to increase in popularity as it was commonly referred to as the “Lady D” bag. She claimed the lining was incorrect.... Christian Dior did not begin using a monogrammed or marked lining until the 1990’s and in some rare cases during the 80’s. Bags were not made in-house and were sourced through other factories. Hardware was not stamped and the lining was not marked. Thirdly.... the bag was inherited from my grandmother whom I sat beside as she died. I know for a FACT that this bag was authentic and to insinuate otherwise is not just ignorant but OFFENSIVE. I walk into both Garment and Moss and can name any bag on their shelves by Designer and often times by style. I have educated their staff on more designer facts than I expected. They and their staff are surprisingly ignorant when it comes to the brands they are re-selling. I am also a person who comes into their stores and buys up the bags they can’t push out the door and have spent a good deal of money there. With all of these facts stacked together it goes without saying that I am well in my right to be offended. If you want a beat up 1980’s Gucci bag with half the monogram rubbed off the canvas, the leather worn with exposed piping, and the interior lining cracked and peeling: THIS is the store to go to. And if YOU are interested in a TWICE CERTIFIED AUTHENTIC vintage 1970’s Christian Dior Trotter Monogram tote.... hit me up."

"This place is very classy for women’s fashion and dressing to impress if you’re interested in unique pieces and not fast fashion. Clean and a very nice couch in the back if you’re a guy. It is women’s clothing only. They do provide handle booklets for other Austin vintage collectives. Very fun vibe."
