"This review is not intended for the local Progressive provider. This is for cooperate. My vehicle was parked off the road, way off the shoulder when it was rear ended. Totaling the car. Keep in the mind the car is PARKED. There was a person sitting in the vehicle. ''This person was not insured. Progressive decided to take it up on themselves to add this person to my policy. No they did not call me. So my premium went from $240 to $560 a month. They did nothing to help me recover from Allstate, who in turn said that rear end accident that totaled my car "was not their fault". I cancelled pathetic Progressive....then they sent me another bill of $121...... remember to have to pay your premium in advance to be insured. Otherwise, as long as I was sending them $$$$ they were happy. As soon as I had a "no fault" accident. They disappeared. Thanks Progressive."

"Just another insurance company here to rip you off, take advantage of you, and not give you the benefits you earned. A temporary pause to my policy that was less than 12 hours caused me to lose 2 years of benefit level. Only reason for the pause was I figured I was going to go to another insurance company due to a right raise. But reinstated policies same day. Very dishonest."

"Go for another company. These guys will approve the body fix, but when it comes to the mechanical side, they wont even take the word of 2 mechanics, one they approved of and allowed to do the body work. I now have to pay to fix the horn of a truck that had zero issues previously, yearly inspection and monthly maintenance on it. This is a bad faith company. Use anyone else but these con artist"

"The people at Progressive Insurance are very nice, but they're money hungry liars as well. I was involved in a hit and run (Not at fault) with unfortunately another progressive customer. Well on top of not paying for my vehicles full damage from the hit and run they also didn't send me the check they were supposed cut to fix what they did cover (which should be ALL of the damages) The MANAGER Brandon Williams got my address wrong TWICE. They sent some tattooed women with a smile to take pictures and look at damages, but she was not competent, because she didn't even ask if my little manual vehicle was in gear when I was struck by this large SUV. Also after canceling my policy with them they charged me $155+ dollars even after my policy was paid up. (I have all the screenshots). I feel like I'm being punished even though I committed NO CRIME. I will never recommend this company to anyone. They just want your money."

"Do NOT use Progressive. They will Trick You into using their Snap Shot program. They will initially offer you a $40 per month discount. However, if you commute through downtown and traffic every day ans have to use your phone's Gps etc continuously, the Snap Shot will literally more than double (3 time) your monthly insurance premium as well as your overall policy (3 times). DO NOT GET TRICKED BY A $40 DISCOUNT PER MONTH TO GET THE SNAP SHOT. $40 DISCOUNT VS $200 MORE EVERY SINGLE MONTH FOR INSURANCE. No accidents, no tickets, no nothing. 3 times rate increased based solely upon braking and using the phone. All consumers should file a Class -Action lawsuit against Progressive for deceptive practices and trickery."
