"First time getting my hair done in a very long time due to a bad past experience years ago at a different salon. Johnny has been cutting my Husband's hair and they have been the best haircuts he's ever had, so I decided to try for myself and I couldn't be happier with the end result. Johnny cut my hair beautifully, truly gave me exactly what I was looking for and then some. Kate did my red hair dye and she did such an amazing job, I can't stop looking at my hair. She even took into consideration my eye color and skin tone for the right shade of red for my coloring. Between the two of them I am officially obsessed with my hair for the first time in literal years, I could not be happier with the end result. Maddison did my blowout and I have nothing but nice things to say about this salon and everyone that works here. Well worth the money and they could easily be charging more for the quality of service I received. Stunning salon, super clean, upbeat, professional and everyone from the front of house to the back room were very friendly, warm and welcoming. I will be coming back for a retouch when its time to re-up my red and a trim! I cannot recommend this salon enough, one of the best salons in Dallas."

"I just came in for a consultation, but I left confident that the services I booked (color, cut, extensions) are in the hands of someone who knows what she's doing. It's more important to me to go to a stylist who's an expert and who utilizes that expertise to make me look great than it is to go to someone who'll cater to my every whim and let me make big mistakes with my hair."

"It was my first time at Johnny Rodriguez and what can I say but WOW. No DOUBLE WOW! From the minute I walked in the door I was made to feel like a VIP. I was greeted with warm smile and Victor was ready to escort me to his chair. Jsyk. II am very reluctant to go to a new stylists as I have been blessed with not only fine hair but thin as well. The slightest little mistake in color or cut will be very noticeable and unfixable. I usually have to be very direct and make sure my stylist understand what they are dealing with BEFORE allowing them to start. However, Victor took control very quickly like the professional he turned out to be. He inspected every stand of my hair asking clarifying questions and was able to tell me what had been done to my hair prior. He identified every area that caused me grief and told me how and what needed to be done to create a master piece. He further explained why he would not be doing certain things cause it is hard on thin hair. Needless to say I walked out very pleased, very relaxed and will be returning! THANK YOU VICTOR! "DO NOT GO HERE!! I came in for a cut and to dye my roots. The cut went fine, but the stylist who did my roots, Isabella, had no idea how to match my natural hair to my currently dyed hair - and it wasn’t like it was a crazy color. She ended up severely bleaching my hair and turning it basically orange. I hoped maybe it would look different once I got home, but nope, it looked even worse. So I called to get it fixed that same night. Absolutely no accountability from the receptionist, and when she asked if I wanted to reschedule with the same colorist, I told her I’d need to see someone else since I didn’t trust she’d fix it correctly. I was rebooked with Ana, and went in the next day. While she did a better job and seemed to know what she was doing, my roots were only slightly darkened and STILL did not match my hair color. I was then charged over $100 MORE for them to NOT fix my hair a SECOND time. Absolutely ABSURD!! I have never had this experience at any salon - not only ruining my hair, but not taking accountability nor fixing it on the house. This is not the high quality salon it claims to be."

"I love how i was taken care of. Caitlin did a great job taking care of my long hair. Its obviously dyed and i told her it was a little dry and it gets frizzy and she used products that left my hair soft and shiny. Not to mention she was very friendly and offered me any drink of my comfort. I love the place itself too but she was the sweetest ❤️❤️ I’ll be back for her service!"
