Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant

"Be prepared before you go, or you will have a huge amount of leftovers. This place intends on you picking one entree and pasta style and sharing amongst your party. The serving sizes are huge and too much food for a couple. A small is intended for three adults, and a large for a full table. The food is delicious but if you and your friends want different items, it doesn't really work... I wanted a small side salad but they don't do that. You have to buy the full size bowl which was too much for my husband and I to eat even if we didn't order anything else. We got our kids food off the kid menu. It was a full dinner plate of spaghetti, and I should have ordered just one instead of each getting their own. .... Good food. Lots of leftovers. Better suited for a party of 8. We left lunch with four full size to go containers."

"I'm not one to leave a bad review, but I was expecting more from a four star rated restaurant. Atmosphere was okay. Service was terrible, had to remind our waitress twice for a glass of milk for our son. Then had to remind her again for a single glass of wine. She couldn't answer any questions we had about the menu. Another waitress came by to bring us to go boxes and the check. She asked if we wanted to speak to the manager which we declined because our son was getting fussy and ready to leave. The cost for two people was over $100 because the entrees and appetizers are ridiculously oversized and overpriced. The cost of entrees reflects how much food you get, not how good the food is. The food is bland and underwhelming with no flavor. My husband and I only had a few bites from each of our entrees. We only took the rest to go to feed to our dogs. Overall a very disappointing experience for the amount of money we spent. Any Olive Garden would have tasted better and cost half as much. The only recommendation I can make is that people stay far away from this restaurant."

"Buca di Beppo is a charming Italian restaurant that boasts a delightful ambiance featuring Italian and Roman-style decor. Their menu offers delectable dishes; we particularly savored the chicken pasta and found the shrimp and calamari fries to be truly exceptional. The drinks were satisfactory, and the bread and butter were delightful. It was an enjoyable experience overall, with good service. However, the prices were on the higher side."

"We visited there for dinner. Great food for all including kids. Marsala was amazing, marsala sauce was next level. The Staff at the restaurant is at the next level in terms of customer service. Our Server Will is amazing when he figured out we were there for a special occasion he got us the cheesecake on the house. That kind of gesture was amazing. And Owner Kim is an amazing and down-to-earth Human being he chatted with us for more than half an hour despite his busy schedule on weekend. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for great food and next-level customer service. Kudos to Will and Kim"

"Our first visit here and we weren’t impressed with Mike. He was incredibly rude and short with us and tried to make it up throughout our meal by acting nice. We had several large parties around us and instead of making his way around the table to take our orders, he just stared and said, “I can’t hear you” while my mom ordered from the opposite side of the table. He didn’t any answer questions or help out if there were issues with ordering. He snatched the bill from my sister-in-law’s hand when we told him we wanted separate checks. It’s a party of 6, at least ask. Visiting here in Dallas and we are disappointed, would definitely rather go somewhere we are appreciated."
