"I'm done believing the lie that a good haircut, style and color is only going to be as good as the money you pay for it. It's a lie perpetrated by higher end salons, and they've abused my wallet for long enough. In frustration at the cost, I had gone for six months without any hair care and needed a cut and style and a fix for my ugly chunky highlights that had grown out far too long. It makes sense that stylists will give you a service that requires heavy maintenance that you hopefully come back for, even if you ask repeatedly for the opposite: a relatively maintenance free head of hair!! By the time the highlights are in it's too late. My fault completely, yes I know. But this time I got lucky. And of all places....supercuts. Easy as pie to get an appointment and it was exactly on time! I have to say that Rosa should be working at a high end salon (man, am I glad she's not). She's fabulous at what she does, she tells you the truth about your hair whether you like that truth or not, she's a great conversationalist and does not sell you on your "future steps to make the hair perfect". For these things alone I'd come back, but throw in the affordable prices here and I'm a fan. Now I'll become a regular."
