"Macy at Tangled Salon is the supreme godess of all colors! If you want you hair to have funky colors put into it with a fun, crazy hairstyle to go with it -- then Macy is your girl. However when it comes to normal hairstyles with simple instructions... maybe go to someone else?? Macy did my hair just recently -- my colors are bright, fun, and A-MA-ZING; the atmosphere and experience was fun and one-of-a-kind; and Macy herself was so sweet and helpful. My one and only problem is that my hair is waaaay shorter than what I requested (multiple times). I wanted hair shorter than shoulder-length but longer than (like not even mistakable as) chin-length hair. DEFINITELY not anything shorter. I now have beautifully colored hair that is ear-lengthed in the very back, jaw-length on the sides and actually nose-length at some points at the front. It looks good and my hair grows fast but it's still not what I asked for. Though I do still highly reccomend Macy -- for all hair-types and all color wishes. She truly has a gift when it comes to color. :) 5/22/23 - Edit: I got my hair done again -- the whole experience was wonderful. "This was my first visit and Christy just would not listen. I showed her what I love from my past. Very good pics and she insisted that I try beige tone instead of golden like I wanted. I reiterated that I love my past color. The only reason I did not go to my normal hair stylist is due to distance. I was hoping to find someone closer to me. Big mistake. She added in a golden toner which helped but did not do the trick. I asked for very little taken off, no more than inch. She said she was just evening it. She took about 3-4 inches off. I have super thick hair and always have it thinned. She thinned the ends. I told her how to think and she said she had never thinned it through out. She tried at least. To say I am sad is an under statement. My hair is also very course after. I’ve never come out with my hair like this. It’s usually very soft. I’m guessing poor products. So I did not get the color I wanted, my hair was cut more than asked, my hair is course now and she charged me $10 more than she quoted. I’m guessing for the second toner that she used to try to FIX my hair color that I was t happy with. Obviously I will never return. Oh insult to injury, I was so thirsty and there is no beverage service! She said I could go next door to grab a drink—with my hair in FOILS! She said they had a fridge but it broke and they decided not to fix it. So I asked my husband to bring me a drink. Another customer was thirsty and I had my husband get her a drink! That is just ridiculous! You can’t charge like a great salon and have none of the services. It was dirty (oh the bathroom)! Poor quality hair cut and color. No drink service and zero customer service! So so so disappointed!!"
