"Cheap fuel, but damn be ready to wait at least an hour…trucks in the fuel lanes and constant computer issues. Hope they get fixed before road ranger opens up…"

"Attention truck drivers and other patrons of Amarillo: If you have ever visited National Truck Stop and Chrome, also known as Hanas Travel Plaza, I urge you caution now when getting food from them. The kitchen, where the food is made, is absolutely disgusting and gut wrenching. The grills are caked with old food and grease, the fryers oil is old and hardly ever changed out appropriately. They keep food in the hot box way past its shelf life, and people get sick. There have been instances where breakfast burritos made at 8am where still on display for sale at 10pm. However, the owner continues to ignore these issues and insists the food be sold as is through out the day. They also allow products in the cooler to be displayed well past their expiration date. So I suggest that you don't buy any hot food from them unless you want to get sick and spend days on a toilet. They have no food service manager either. Please show caution when doing business with this place."

"A nice little gem that I've never noticed till now. Showers are decent with food pressure, $10. Food is good. Staff is friendly. It can seem unorganized but they're remodeling & have a chrome that's decently stocked. Be patient with them, as they're remodeling includes upgrading their pumps & that takes time. If you think fuel not being available is inconvenient for you, truck me, it's more inconvenient for them, as that's plenty of money lost. We will absolutely be back & leave the big name chain truck stops to their own demise here, this place is cleaner & friendlier BY FAR."

"What an awful place. If I wasn’t concerned I was running out of gas, I would never have stopped. First it was expensive $4.49 for a gallon of gas? At the next exit it was just over $3 a gallon. It was super run down, many of the pumps didn’t work and I had to go in to pay. The gas pumped so s-l-o-w-l-y. When I walked in to pay I felt as if I was in a horror film - dark and depressing with bad energy. The cashier was not friendly. Avoid this place if you can."
