"A bunch of people begging for money outside every time I go which is quite annoying and a little scary but I make my way past them and enjoy some really good fried chicken wings. Don't forget the peppers. The red beans are great and the collards. Drug dealers are usually there too doing their thing ...ugggh."

"The best Frenchys Chicken is and always will be- is on Scott St. Then the next location was on Wilcrest @ 59, which taste just like the original. However, it closed. Why I do not know. I wish they would have brought those workers to this Richmond location. Because, this Richmond location doesn't taste anything like the real thing, not even the French fries. They really need to find the secret and apply it. Great location, but the food is not so great. I've been eating Frenchys chicken on Scott Street, since 1970. So, I definitely know the real deal. To the owner, please get the secret or find people who worked at the Wilcrest or Scott location to work at the Richmond Avenue location."

"Just throw the whole damn location away. The chicken was NOT SEASONED, the rice in the red beans and rice was undercooked the peach cobbler was stone cold. A total waste of 23 dollars. SMH. This location needs a lesson on proper cooking. Best location is on I 10 and Waco. Just simply trash."

"I had the 3 campus meal mixed with dirty rice, a roll, jalapeno, and peach cobbler. Initially, I had the chicken leg and did not quite get the appeal, then I had the chicken thigh and the light came on, I was sucking on my fingers trying to get all of the flavor. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal as you can see in the before and after pictures."
