Urban Bird Hot Chicken

"The food here is amazing! Hot chicken is one of my favorites, and this place has some of the best I've had! I ordered the hot, and the flavor was amazing! The two heat levels above the regular hot though must be INTENSE, as their regular hot is hotter than most places top level hot! The dipping sauce is great, the crinkle fries were on point, and the toast was perfect! The only slight recommendation I'd make would be to tie the space together a little better. Not sure how long this location has been in business but it feels like they just opened and weren't quite ready yet. Definitely not a deal breaker though, try this place out!"

"10 out of 10 I would recommend. The food was phenomenal. The staff was kind. Denise went out of her way to accommodate my very pregnant wife including rearranging a booth, taking the order tableside, bringing the food out and adding the changes we asked to the order. The food was great. Food for 4 with drinks and dessert was $67 or about $16/person. The chicken and waffles. banging. We ate inside. There was plenty of seating inside. The Blueberry lemonade, chicken and waffles, and custard was great."

"OK, if you are a Hattie B’s fan, this is as close to it as you will come. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have traditional fried chicken - just tenders. But, the food is amazing! I got the Hella Hot and it was fire - literally and figuratively. The pickles were awesome and the toast was on point. The service was great and food came out within 5 minutes and was fresh. Why the 4 stars? The cost - whoa! $16 for two strips, slaw and a drink. That is just too much for fast food IMO. Other than that, highly recommend!"

"Came in because I got the "free sando" promo on tik tok. Walked in with my qr code, and the manager not even acknowledging me says, "It's buy one get one free," and doesn't scan my QR code. I nicely ask again for clarification as what was stated online was different, and she snapped at me with an aggressive tone and said, "ITS BUY ONE GET ONE FREE". The building looks nice and the seating area is pretty spacious and cozy but I don't think I want to go a place that gives the Popeyes treatment. Either Urban needs to have better communication with management or need to stop running bait n switch advertisements. This was my 1st time in and I don't think I will become a customer. I'm a level 8 reviewer and with this information I do not think this a place worth the visit."
