"Don't go here. I'd rather pay out of pocket than go back here until I get new insurance. Went for a regular exam and cleaning and they told me I needed a $370 deep cleaning with lasering and scaling and that I had a cavity and "oh we can fill that for $169 right now." Broke down in tears because I have NEVER had dental issues. Never had a single cavity and here they were telling me they could fill it right now, when I just thought I was going in for a routine exam and cleaning. Long story short, went to my lifetime dentist and paid out of pocket for an exam and they said there was absolutely no need at all for a deep cleaning. I barely had any plaque buildup. In regard to the cavity they said it looked like the start of a minor cavity and with proper hygiene and daily brushing I could keep it from becoming one...good thing I took the time to read reviews and get a second opinion...My total for a regular cleaning and exam was less than the cost of a filling at the one dentist on my insurance...in my opinion they should not deny you your free cleaning and force you to get a deep cleaning off the bat. In addition, they told me I had to come back every 3 months because my gums were so bad. That would be $30 each time and yet I look good according to another dentist...."

"Unless your insurance covers all the costs, you are better off going somewhere else. They charge a lot more here than most places. Average cost for a filling most places out of pocket is $45-60 but here it is $116+ so definitely don't come here without stellar insurance. They also try to up sell you stuff you do not need. Definitely will not be back."

"This place is a scam. Their ethical standards are questionable. During my visit for a routine cleaning, examination, and x-ray, I had dental insurance that explicitly covered these services. Nevertheless, I was denied a standard cleaning and informed that I needed to incur out-of-pocket expenses for a special deep cleaning?? I just had a normal cleaning 6 months ago at my usual dentist and I was told everything looked great. It was odd how they went about not giving me a normal cleaning until they presented me with a price sheet only giving me an option for a special deep clean, I most definitely did not need. This establishment exhibits a questionable business model and appears to engage in unfair pricing practices. Aka a SCAM."

When I need to make a difficult choice of care due to financial strain, there has been a lot of flexibility to give me the best dental care and help me stay on track. I live pretty far from this office, but I will always be happy to make the drive to come to Hutto for this level of care. Thank you!"
