First Texas Honda - Service Department

"Update 3/3: I was told to email Lindsay, the service director, and I have not heard a response from my email sent on 2/24. I again would not recommend this service center. Update 2/16: I sent an email on 2/1 based on Alex’s response below and have not heard a response back but instead have received two texts to try and schedule my declined services. I would not recommend this as a place to value your experience. Although the staff was friendly at times, I left my experience at First Texas Honda wishing I had not taken my car there at all. They were indifferent to my car’s specific problems, and they took advantage of their position to charge me even more for a diagnostic. They also have a $48 “Misc Charges” at the bottom of the bill that is not itemized and feels predatory as they don’t explain what it entails unless you explicitly ask."

"Went in for Express oil change. Took close to 2 hours. They were helpful in returning my car to me at doorway to waiting area. Everyone was kind and considerate. Only gripe was long wait for an express service."

"First time coming here after being screwed over by Howdy Honda for the last time. Overall pretty happy - they gave me a free loaner vehicle while they worked on my car for 5 days, they found the issue that Howdy Honda couldn’t, and they checked and confirmed that it would be covered under the warranty before I asked. However, when I texted my tech on the day that they said it should be done and they told me it would be ready at 4pm, I took time off work, drove the 45 minutes in rush hour traffic to get there only to be told that it’s not done and they need to keep it another day. Pretty frustrating, but they were open about the mistake and offered to deliver the car to my home and pick up the loaner the next day, which I appreciated."

"I walked in as a new pre-owned Honda owner and can honestly say that with all the staff and hospitality I received I am a Honda owner for life. Thank you Fred for your outstanding Customer Service, Hospitality and urgency to matter. Respect for your hard work but you put many smiles on faces daily for your customers from what I observed. Cody thank you so much for helping in resolving other issues. Zane for taking exceptional care of my Aubrey and to Brent and all the management who go out of their ways to handle escalated issues. "I have been to multiple service centers earlier across brands in Austin, but visited first time here for the car service,am truly impressed. Starting from appointment booking at 7.30am everything was seamless. When am there, the service department person took my requirement, reading and any thing am looking for. Mainly the staff HEARD us. Post service,they explained the detail and nothing was pushy. Am not comparing any other showroom here but as a center was impressed am being taken care. Thank you and looking forward for here.
