"Just spent a little over 4 hours at this Clinic. The facility itself is professionally ready for clients. From the reception up to and including the Dentist, all were courteous and eager to assist. Professionalism was displayed at all times by all members of the Clinic. "Booking an appointment was easy & quick. They had availability the same & next day. But when I went in, the receptionist wasn't sure about the $29/yr promo on the front page of their website, and stated the reason is because she's new. I let them know I'm a self-pay customer, coming from another clinic that's charging me $300 before even receiving any care, and am shopping around for a better deal. When I asked for a price estimate list on the things my records show I need done, the manager couldn't give me any list of services & price estimates so I could make an informed decision as to whether I want to have my treatment there or somewhere else. They said I'd have to pay for the whole x-rays, consultation & cleaning before getting my filling replaced. They then tried to upcharge me to $487 for a cleaning, adding in $65 for a toothbrush and $20 for toothpaste available for half that at HEB, and charging $75 for the laser gum treatment listed at $50 on the ad right in front of me... and another $400 for 2 fillings. They said those prices are the balance AFTER promo discounts are applied. I wasted 3 hours of my morning and took time off of work (losing money) just to find out I can't afford to get treated there. We removed anything not absolutely necessary and it came to a cleaning for $285 + 2 fillings for $400. The staff were nice and professional and seemed highly competent, but at these prices what working person can afford to receive care without insurance? Three stars because the answer to, "Why are you charging me $300 for a 45 min cleaning procedure and adding so much more than advertised," was, "If you don't like it, you can choose to go somewhere else.""
