Dr. Guss, our lead dentist, graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1999. He practices general dentistry with a focus on restorative and preventative care. Dr. Guss and his wife, Dr. Lisa Sattem, who also graduated from the same dental school, have three children together.

"Sattem Dental, all of them, are the most kind, considerate and understanding dental office I have ever been to. So many dental offices are all about numbers and running you through as fast as possible. I have a phobia about dental offices and hate dental pain. DR Guss was very understanding and considerate of this. I had many visits with them and they were ALWAYS concerned with my comfort. They explain everything in great detail so you know exactly what will be done. In my 51 years on this earth I can say I have never had a good dental office experience until I went to Sattem Dental. Five stars all the way!!!"

I have a severe phobia of dentists and this clinic gave me the necessary medication to make every experience a tolerable, pain free... almost pleasant experience ;). That's saying a lot from someone that couldn't even have her teeth cleaned without anesthesia!! I love it here!"
