"I haven’t been since the pandemic so I knew there would be work that needed to be done. The hygienist was amazing and was awesome about explaining everything to me and some things I needed. So when the front desk person came to tell me how much it cost I explained I wouldn’t be able to pay that at this time and I felt shamed into not being able to pay that. I apologized and was told “don’t be sorry for me it’s you who needs it.” Then after paying for my fluoride I was shown a cost of future dental work and again was shamed on what would inevitably happen and the price jump. Which I appreciate, but with the comment before it was very uncomfortable and everyone in the lobby could hear our conversation. As a family of 5 it’s difficult to pay for something I know I need but also surviving this economic climate right now. I’m doing my own nails, I’m cooking at home all while having to pay for daycare and work a full time job. It made me feel very inadequate which is why I won’t be returning. If you’re able to afford dental work right away and would like thorough cleaning they did a great job."
